Podcasts we love

Here’s a list of our favorite podcasts.

At first when we sat down to make this list, there must have been 20 podcasts on it. We painstakingly whittled the list down to 10. If you’re wondering what the other 10 were, we’d be more than happy to share them with you. So much quality content these days. Time to get to listening and learning!

Podcasts we are obsessed with and coincidentally have been featured on

  • How to save the world with Jaimie Pruden & Meghan Offtermatt - On their podcast, Jaimie and Meghan share their own sustainability journeys and learn from other like-minded advocates. Their weekly Friday briefings on environmental and sustainability related news is 7 mins long and perfect for winding down the work week.

  • The TypA Podcast with Talia Antonietta - Talia Antonietta is Type A to a T: ambitious and a whole lot of anxious - especially about important topics in society like gender equality, climate change, and social impact. She’s bringing awareness to the entrepreneurs who are not just profitable in their businesses, but who think about the planet and people. The impact entrepreneurs who are type A and leading the way for how the future of business - and its consumers - should aspire to be.

Money-related

  • Marketplace with Kai Ryssdal - This is our daily go-to for easily digestible economic updates. We love you Kai!

  • This is Uncomfortable with Reema Khrais - Also part of the Marketplace series, this “is a show about life and how money messes with it.” YEP.

  • The Indicator from Planet Money - These 10 min episodes are quick and center around work, business, and the economy. Things that we’re all wondering about. For example, last week’s episodes consisted of “Why we didn’t prepare for the epidemic” and “How the Fed fights coronavirus.”

  • So Money with Farnoosh Torabi - So Money brings candid conversations about money with the world’s top business minds and influencers. Whenever I ask people which financial podcast they love listening to, they will inevitably say this one. Yes, it’s that good.

Inspiration

  • The Adventurepreneur Podcast with Jeremy Jensen - Proud to call Jeremy a friend, this podcast shares the stories of problem solvers, change makers, athletes, and outside the box thinkers, who have a passion for adventure, travel, and the outdoors. If you’re looking for a podcast to pump you up and make you feel like you can go out and do anything, listen to this.

  • TED Radio Hour with new host Manoush Zomorodi - These episodes are basically the best TED talks curated and melded together into an hour-ish long investigation into the biggest questions of our time, e.g. What Makes Social Connection So Vital To Our Well-Being?

Professional development

What has been a source of inspiration for you these days? What have you been listening to? Anything we should add to our list? We’d love to hear from you!
